The Tour de Sewickley is a ride, not a race, and has something to offer every level of cyclist. The 60-mile ride starts in Allegheny County and weaves its way through communities in the north into Beaver County. This scenic and rural route makes its way to Brushcreek Park before heading back to Sewickley. The 30-mile route follows the Pennsylvania Red Belt. Rest stops are available at the 15, 30, and 45-mile points. The 5-mile Family Fun Ride meanders through the community of Sewickley. Participants who register before June 13th are guaranteed an official Tour de Sewickley T-shirt. The money raised at the Tour de Sewickley is applied toward the comprehensive programs and services The Early Learning Institute provides for infants and preschool children with developmental delays. The Great Ride

The Great Ride is the original recreational bicycling tour of Pittsburgh, taking cyclists through three regional parks, across four city bridges, and through twelve city neighborhoods, each with its own distinctive personality. Cyclists of all ages and abilities choose between a predominately flat 20-mile course, a hillier 30-mile course, and a challenging 50-mile course that ascends several steep city streets. More experienced riders can also be challenged by a 5-mile loop of Mount Washington, with a spectacular view of downtown Pittsburgh. Riders are treated every 10-12 miles to festive and nourishing comfort stations offering a variety of refreshments and entertainment. The finish line congratulates riders with music, food, and raffle prizes.
