10:30 a.m. Official Opening--Linking Up ceremony with Congressman Murtha, DCNR Secretary John Oliver, and Rick Sebak of WQED.  Please join us for this precedential event!  There will be light refreshments to follow.

Voyage to Confluence

McKeesport  7:00 a.m.  Riders leave from the McKeesport trailhead.
Meyersdale 11:30 p.m. Riders leave from the Meyersdale trailhead.

Events Along the Trail

West Newton  11-5:00 p.m. Open House at the Regional Trail Corporation of West Newton. 
Rockwood 10-1:00 p.m. 7-Mile Geological Hayride Come learn about geology exposed along the Casselman River gorge and bring your rock hammer. Limited Space—first come first serve.
Cedar Creek Park  2-4:30 p.m. Slowest Bike Race ($2entry fee);   2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. the Rhodes Brothers Bluegrass Band; 3:00 p.m. Bike Decoration Contest and Parade (12 & under) including prizes for Best of Show, Prettiest, Funniest, Most Colorful, Most Unique, Most Futuristic, and Most Historical.

At Confluence

the following activities will be taking place 11:00-5:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted:

Community Sidewalk and Yard Sales 
Booth on Bluebird Boxes by the Pennsylvania Game Commission
Potomac Heritage Trail Council Booth
Information Booth by Confluence Tourism Association
Food Booth by Confluence Tourism Association with Chicken Barbeque, Hotdogs, and Hamburgers
D.J. Jason Baluch will be in the park gazebo with music and karaoke.
1:00 p.m. Vintage Baseball starring the Addison Pike Boys, the Altoona Mountain Stars, and the Rockwood Baseball Team.  With vintage uniforms and 1860's style rules. 
3:00 p.m. Decorated Bicycle & Tricycle Parade in town square
3:00 p.m. Riders arrive! Celebration ceremony to follow
